Can you relate?

You call a cab (or worse, get on a bus) and hope that the driver was told there would be a cat passenger so that when you get in you don’t get stink eye because the driver starts sneezing (they sent a driver who is allergic to cats!), and is speeding like a demon to end their suffering further stressing you and your cat before you even get to the appointment.

Or you walk and suddenly your 10-pound cat feels like you’re carrying the Tasmanian devil who is yowling and jumping around in the carrier while you’re walking the busy streets of the city and horns are blaring, you’re dodging traffic, random people stop you to say ‘Hi’ to your kitty, ‘Oh, she’s so sweet’ – yeah, sure. You didn’t need a blood transfusion this morning just to get her into the carrier.

Then you get there and you have to wait (sometimes along with barking dogs, other yowling cats, phones ringing, and other loud noises) all for a 10 minute or less appointment and then turn around and do the whole thing in reverse to get back home where your cat immediately pukes (always on the rug), then sulks, and hides and you feel guilty and keep saying “Baby, I’m so sorry. I love you but your murder mittens need to be trimmed!”

Well, all of that is a thing of the past because now, you and your kitty can stay home, relaxed, with nail trim appointments on your schedule.

Hi, I'm Randye

Necessity is the mother of invention, right?

For years, everywhere I’ve lived, I searched for this service for LolaBelle, my travel-anxious kitty (and Chief Kitten Officer).

Then while cat sitting a neighbor’s very friendly boy named Otis, a lightbulb went off after he patted me and I felt his nails through my shirt.

And the idea came to me!

So I got trained through the National Cat Groomers Institute, then obtained my American Red Cross Pet First Aid certification and created the business I could never find and that other cat parents also need.

Caticures To Go house-call cat nail trimming is the result.
